There are many companies, some even started by Dentists, that offer customized virtual consult platforms that can be purchased to add to your website or social media accounts.
One being, Smile Virtual.
Created by Dr. Brian Harris DDS, a successful Cosmetic Dentist that mastered the world of social media in more ways than one.
This is a tool that many dentists are trying and some have seen to be very successful.
Patients simply use the online form to take a "Smile Selfie" and note the concerns they have with their smile. Then, they receive a video from the doctor of how their smile could be improved. This opens the door to trust with future patients and is an extremely creative way to stand out in the area of patient experience.
Virtual consults are the answer to communicating with your patients during this time of need and a source of growth for your practice once we return to our offices.
Smile Virtual is the option for practices who have the money but not the time to invest in a new project.
For practices with a smaller budget and time to create their own forms, there is Typeform.

For me, it’s OK that a tool can keep it’s name at the bottom, or that I have some limited options. Typeform’s Pro and Pro+ plans feature additional features like a logic jump (where if you answer one way on a question it takes you to a different part of the form), respondent notification emails, calculator scoring and pricing, payment fields and removing of Typeform branding. If you think you’ll need those, it’ll cost $30/month. But do note that all plans feature collecting unlimited responses!
To me, the free version is a great deal. You get mobile-friendly forms, customization, reporting and self notification emails. That’s all I need for my business at the moment, how about you?"
