So you have taken the plunge and decided to try out your first ad. Whether you have chosen Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or Instagram Ads, you are likely to have found new terms that can be confusing and misleading.


The most common question I get from clients starting an ad campaign for the first time is the difference between the "Reach" and "Impressions" metrics when tracking the analytics of a campaign.


Reach refers to the number of people who may have seen your ad/ content. It is important to note that the same person can see your content multiple times.


It is important to understand these metrics for future re-marketing.
